Cookies
The Crest sets two cookies, both strictly necessary, and shows no cookie banner. Under the ePrivacy Regulations (SI 336/2011) consent is not required for what is strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for, and nothing here goes beyond that.
| Cookie | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
the-crest-session |
Keeps track of your visit from one page to the next, so that a form you are part-way through filling in — a booking, an enquiry — is still yours when you submit it. | Until you close your browser, or two hours idle. |
XSRF-TOKEN |
Security. It proves a form was submitted from this website rather than by another site acting in your name. | The same as above. |
Nothing else
No analytics. No advertising. No tracking between sites. No third-party fonts or scripts.
The same is true of every club website built on the platform — and it is held in place by a test that fails the build if any page starts setting a cookie that is not on this list, or loading anything from a company that is not on the sub-processor list.
